The Atelier Formulary™

Three Foundational Compositions. One Documented Standard.

At the heart of The Canine Dossier™ reside three flagship formulations: Botanical Bath Tea, Canine Salve, and Dry Shampoo.

Together, they form The Atelier Formulary™—a deliberately restrained collection of botanical and cosmetic compositions designed around the bathing ritual, leave-on conditioning, and care of the coat between bathing sessions.

The Formulary is intentionally concise. Flora & Fur Atelier® does not measure sophistication by the number of ingredients contained within a formula. Each material is selected for a defined purpose, considered in relation to the complete composition, and documented as part of the evolving Canine Dossier™ formulation system.

These are not simply ingredients. They are the raw materials from which the Dossier is built.

Botanical Bath Tea

The Botanical Infusion

Flora & Fur Atelier® Botanical Bath Tea

The Botanical Bath Tea is the water ritual of The Atelier Formulary™—a restrained composition of whole oats, mineral bicarbonate, and carefully selected flowers. Simple in appearance. Deliberate in composition.

Ingredient Philosophy

Baking Soda

Naturally Mined

Baking soda provides the mineral foundation of the Bath Tea. Its simplicity is precisely the point: a familiar material incorporated deliberately within a broader botanical bathing composition rather than surrounded by unnecessary complexity.

Organic Whole Oats

Yupik

Whole oats bring substance and quiet familiarity to the bathing ritual. Their natural form complements the Atelier's preference for recognizable raw materials and gives the infusion an unmistakably handcrafted character.

Organic Calendula Flowers

Organic Way

Calendula introduces one of the defining botanical signatures of The Atelier Formulary™. Its golden petals bring both visual refinement and botanical character to the composition, revealing the nature of the preparation before the sachet ever meets water.

Egyptian Chamomile Flowers

Monterey Bay Herb Co.

Chamomile completes the floral architecture of the Bath Tea. Selected for its provenance and understated elegance, the flowers bring a recognizable botanical presence to a composition built around restraint rather than excess.

Canine Salve

The Botanical Infusion Salve

Flora & Fur Atelier® Canine Salve

The Canine Salve is the leave-on expression of The Atelier Formulary™. Its composition begins not with a long inventory of cosmetic ingredients, but with an intentionally concise foundation: olive oil, calendula flowers, plantain leaves, and beeswax. Four materials. Each with a reason to remain.

Ingredient Philosophy

Olive Oil

Madhava

Olive oil forms the fluid foundation of the Canine Salve. Its rich, familiar character provides the medium through which the botanical components of the composition may be brought together before the finished preparation is structured with beeswax.

Organic Calendula Flowers

Organic Way

Calendula creates a botanical connection between the Bath Tea and Canine Salve, allowing a carefully selected material to move across different rituals within The Atelier Formulary™. Within the Salve, the flowers become part of the botanical infusion rather than simply a decorative addition.

100% Natural Plantain Leaves

Zemlyana

Plantain leaf introduces another distinct botanical element to the infusion. Its inclusion reflects the Atelier's preference for compositions built from recognizable materials whose presence can be intentionally documented from sourcing through production.

100% Natural Beeswax

BeyTyKy

Beeswax gives the Salve its architecture. Where olive oil provides movement, beeswax provides structure—transforming the botanical infusion into a measured preparation suitable for controlled application. It is an uncomplicated material performing an essential role.

Dry Shampoo

The Between-Bath Botanical Powder

Flora & Fur Atelier® Dry Shampoo

Dry Shampoo occupies the space between bathing rituals. It was not created to replace bathing, nor to conceal the coat beneath excessive fragrance. It is a deliberately simple botanical powder composed of dried lavender flowers, neem leaf powder, and arrowroot powder. Three materials form the flagship composition. Nothing is included merely to make the ingredient panel longer.

Ingredient Philosophy

Dried Organic Albanian Lavender Flowers

U.S. Wellness Naturals

Lavender introduces the floral component of the Dry Shampoo and creates another botanical thread across The Atelier Formulary™. Its presence is physical rather than merely aromatic: the botanical itself becomes part of the composition.

Organic Neem Leaf Powder

Carmel Organics

Neem leaf powder contributes the distinctive botanical character of the formulation. Its finely milled form allows it to integrate into the powder composition while preserving the Atelier's preference for recognizable plant-derived materials.

Arrowroot Powder

Colorado Spice

Arrowroot provides the powder foundation of the composition. Its fine, lightweight character balances the botanical materials and gives the formulation the elegant powder profile necessary for controlled application through the coat. Rather than competing with the botanicals, it provides the quiet architecture that allows them to belong within a cohesive formulation.

A Deliberately Shared Botanical Vocabulary

The three flagship formulations were not designed as isolated products. Look closely and a botanical vocabulary begins to emerge.

Calendula

Moves between the bathing and leave-on rituals.

Whole Botanicals

Remain visible where their physical character contributes to the experience.

Powdered Botanicals

Used where the formulation requires a different architecture.

Minerals, Oils, Waxes & Botanicals

Selected according to the role they perform within each composition.

This deliberate repetition is not a limitation. It is discipline.

A refined formulary does not require an endless catalogue of ingredients. It requires a carefully selected vocabulary whose materials can be understood, documented, and applied with intention.

Provenance Becomes Part of the Formula

Within Flora & Fur Atelier®, the identity of an ingredient does not end with its common name. Its source matters.

Supplier identity becomes part of the formulation record because reproducibility begins with knowing precisely where a material originated. Supplier. Ingredient. Lot. Formula. Season. Breed archetype. Production record. Observation. Each contributes another layer to the documented history of The Canine Dossier™.

Over time, those records allow three deceptively simple compositions to become something considerably more meaningful:

a documented formulation system.

Sourced From

Naturally Mined

Baking Soda

Naturally Mined was selected as the source of baking soda for the Botanical Bath Tea because even the simplest mineral ingredients deserve deliberate sourcing. Within a restrained formulation, consistency becomes more visible rather than less important.

Yupik

Organic Whole Oats

Yupik provides the organic whole oats selected for the Botanical Bath Tea. Their whole-food form preserves the recognizable character of the raw material and complements the Atelier's preference for formulations in which simplicity remains visible.

Organic Way

Organic Calendula Flowers

Organic Way's calendula flowers were selected for their role within the Botanical Bath Tea as well as the broader botanical vocabulary of The Atelier Formulary™. Using a consistent calendula source across multiple flagship preparations supports the Atelier's commitment to controlled sourcing and long-term formulation continuity.

Monterey Bay Herb Co.

Egyptian Chamomile Flowers

Monterey Bay Herb Co. was selected for the Egyptian chamomile used within the Botanical Bath Tea because botanical origin and identity are integral to the Atelier's sourcing philosophy. Their Egyptian chamomile provides a distinctive whole-flower material suited to a formulation designed to celebrate botanicals rather than obscure them.

Madhava

Olive Oil

Madhava was selected as the source of olive oil for the Canine Salve because the foundation of an anhydrous botanical formulation begins with the integrity of its primary oil. Their olive oil provides the medium through which the Atelier's selected botanicals are brought together.

Zemlyana

100% Natural Plantain Leaves

Zemlyana provides the plantain leaves selected for the botanical infusion at the heart of the Canine Salve. Their whole-leaf presentation aligns naturally with the Atelier's preference for recognizable botanical materials whose identity remains evident before production begins.

BeyTyKy

100% Natural Beeswax

BeyTyKy was selected as the source of beeswax that gives the Canine Salve its finished structure. In a deliberately concise formulation, the quality of the structural ingredient becomes especially important because there are few places for inconsistency to hide.

U.S. Wellness Naturals

Organic Albanian Lavender Flowers

U.S. Wellness Naturals was selected for its focus on carefully sourced botanical materials and the distinctive provenance of its Albanian lavender. Their lavender allows the Dry Shampoo to begin with a material chosen not simply for aroma, but for botanical integrity, provenance, and consistency.

Carmel Organics

Organic Neem Leaf Powder

Carmel Organics specializes in botanical ingredients with an emphasis on organic sourcing and carefully processed plant materials. Their neem leaf powder was selected for the Dry Shampoo because its finely milled botanical character supports a formulation in which the plant material itself remains central.

Colorado Spice

Arrowroot Powder

Colorado Spice provides the arrowroot powder that forms the lightweight powder foundation of the Dry Shampoo. Consistency in even the most understated ingredient matters when a formulation is intended to be documented and reproduced over time.
