About Flora & Fur Atelier®
Our Mission
A Ritual of Care. An Expression of Love.
Flora & Fur Atelier® is an independent botanical science atelier operating from our historic property on Mountainview Street. We develop precision canine dermal formulations rooted in species-specific pH and lipid research, capturing real-world data points to map how breed-specific parameters protect canine skin barriers through intense New England seasonal shifts.
This enterprise is built on permanent foundations. Our work is dedicated to family legacy, neighborhood preservation, and channeling a direct percentage of recurring revenue back to community beautification funds and local ministries. Every Dermal Dossier supports both your companion's wellbeing and the community we share.
Philosophy
Sourcing Philosophy
Extraordinary formulations begin long before production. They begin with extraordinary materials.
Every supplier selected for Flora & Fur Atelier® has been chosen for consistency, documentation standards, ingredient transparency, and the ability to support long-term formulation reproducibility.
Our objective has never been to source the least expensive ingredients. Every ingredient supplier has been selected with the understanding that Flora & Fur Atelier® is not creating another pet product. We are creating documentation suitable for future institutional licensing.
Consistency, documentation, ingredient transparency, and cosmetic-quality materials matter more than purchasing the least expensive ingredient available.

Calibration
Species-Specific Calibration
Canine skin operates within a neutral-to-alkaline pH range (6.2–7.4) and possesses distinct lipid architecture compared to human integument. Universal formulations represent a biological incompatibility. Every biomolecular compound is calibrated to species-specific dermal parameters.
Breed-Specific Considerations
Nordic Breeds
Thick coats need extra hydration and cold protection.
Scent Hounds
Formulated to handle strong, persistent odors.
Toy Breeds
Delicate skin calls for gentle, soothing care.
Gundogs
Built to lift dirt and environmental buildup.
Terriers
Tough skin still benefits from gentle, calming care.
Regional Integrity
Synthesized in Massachusetts under controlled conditions, our formulations bridge Pioneer Valley sourcing discipline with medical-grade manufacturing standards. This represents closed-loop accountability: regional botanical reserves meet pharmaceutical-level quality verification.

The finest care begins with understanding. The deepest love is shown in the smallest details.
Flora & Fur Atelier®

Sourcing Discipline
To maintain biological integrity, Flora & Fur Atelier® partners exclusively with Certified Ethical Suppliers. Every botanical extract and bioactive compound is accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA), ensuring pharmaceutical-grade quality verification.
